How does a body look two years after death? (no coffin)?

Pretty much skeletonized at that point unless they were left out in a hot, dry area in which case they would be mummified. Any natural fiber clothing (cotton) they were wearing would be completely gone, but most synthetic fabrics (polyester) will be intact. If they were laying out in the sun, the bones will be sun bleached. If they were buried, the bones will be light brown.
