Can rats eat oatmeal?
I'm out of seeds for my two rats, and have been looking for alternative dry foods to substitute in for them until I can get to the pet store. During the day, they always have seeds to munch on at will; for now, just cheerios. At night- daily, I give them kale, more cheerios, a few of the lab blocks, and some kind of veggie or fruit. It's been peas and carrot the past few nights. But the cheerios and blocks aren't lasting very long, and decided to give them dry oatmeal. It's apple cinnamon oatmeal.. is that okay? They seem to like it, especially the one, but is it okay? I don't want to keep giving it to them if it's not okay!
