Why do most of my dreams I have really happen?

I had a dream last night that my boyfriend was cheating on me and that he left me for some other girl. Today he called me and broke up with me for real! Not only did that one happen in real life but also one night I had a dream that my grandfather was dying and when I woke up I got a phone call saying he's dead! Why do my dreams I have when I sleep come true?
